We are delighted to be partnered with Good Chance Theatre during their run of ‘A Grain of Sand’ at London’s Arcola Theatre from 21-31 January 2026.
A Grain of Sand (★★★★★) is a one-woman show “of breathtaking power and nuance” (Good News Liverpool) that takes an intimate look at war through the eyes of a child with “unflinching authenticity” (Liverpool Noise). Written and directed by Elias Matar, the play blends Palestinian folklore with real-life testimonies from children in contemporary Gaza. Renad’s story, performed by Sarah Agha, is one of resilience, hope and the right of children to be children.
During the play’s two-week run, a selection of panels from the quilt will be on display in the theatre’s foyer. An accompanying creative workshop inviting participants to design and make a square to be added to the quilt will be held on Saturday 24th from 1pm – 3pm.
Immediately following the workshop there is a matinee performance of A Grain of Sand at 3pm,
