A wonderful collaboration with Cecil Green Arts, Bradford, West Yorkshire, exhibiting the quilt in this beautiful, reflective community space. During the day-long event people visited the exhibition, participated in a creative workshop in remembrance of the children, and joined a film screening of ‘Light’, a powerful documentary produced by the CPT Palestine team. We were privileged to participate in an discussion with filmmaker Ahmad Abu Monshar who joined us online from the West Bank.
The day culminated with a community iftar, and was closed with a gentle yet powerful flute recital and poetry reading in the candlelit exhibition space. Thank you so much to everyone at Cecil Green Arts and to the solidarity of the local community who came to support, and to actively participate in and contribute to the project.
